Use mother tongue to chat with some students. Use some pictures to set the scene in an effort to elicit . Listen carefully. Repeat after the teacher. Practice in pairs and then in groups. Call sts to work in pairs to greet each other. Correct sts’ mistakes if there are any. Let them play the roles of the people in the pictures. Expain the sts how to identify oneself. Some pairs perform the dialogue before the class. Call sts to look at the screen and read the dialogue carefully. Work in group ( of four) and then fill in the gaps. Get feedback. Peer correction. Call sts to work in pairs and then in groups. Ask sts to look at the third and fourth pictures on the textbook and call them to guess what they are talking about. Have them listen to the tape and then check their prediction. Practice in groups of three. Some groups perform the dialogue in front of the class. Call them to work in pairs to practice about their real ages. Let some pairs perform in front of the class. Divide the whole class into two groups . Ask them to think carefully and them fill in the missing letters on the board. Call them to learn by heart all new words they have been leart. Prepare some new words in A1 & A2 for the next period.
