Language content 1/ Vocabulary: Come, in, sit, down, stand, up, close, open, book 2/ Structures Open your book, close your book, come in, stand up III. Teaching aids: Pictures of some students, cassette, tape and projector. IV. Techniques: Brainstorming, role play, pair work and group work. V. Divide the whole class into two groups and call sts to read aloud some numbers in the emptied circles. Give some comments after playing. Set the scene and introduce the commands. Listen carefully. ( closed books) Practice in groups. Explain how to form a command. Read some key words ( chorally/ individually). Call them to work in groups. match some commands to the correct pictures. Get feedback and correct. Call students to play a game called “ Mr Simmons says..” Learn some key words by heart. Prepare some new words in B1 & B3 carefully. Sing aloud after the teacher. Set a scene to lead in the new lesson. Ask sts to work in pairs and guess the missing words in the dialogue. Call them to listen to the dialogue carefully and check their prediction. Have them practice in pairs. ( open pairs / closed pairs) Call some pairs to perform in front of the class. Call them to read some key words. Read aloud ( chorally/ individually) Correct their wrong pronunciation if there are. Introduce the letters from A to Z.
